Palimex, wholesaler of dried fruit, spices and olives since 1984

Palimex has been a food wholesaler at the Rungis wholesale market since 1984. We supply trade buyers only — grocers, greengrocers, cafés, hotels and restaurants, pastry chefs, caterers and retail chains — with dried fruit, dehydrated fruit, spices, olives and speciality foods from around the world.

A wholesaler based in Rungis since 1984

Palimex is a simplified joint-stock company with share capital of €500,000, registered under company number (SIREN) 330 177 635. Its head office and main warehouse are at 40 rue de Provence, building D9, Rungis MIN — the largest fresh produce market in Europe.

That address is not administrative detail. It puts the stock minutes away from the food service and food retail buyers of the Paris region, and makes collection on site possible instead of waiting for a delivery round.

Two further sites complete the setup:

• Palimex Fruits secs MEYVA — 2 avenue de Flandre, building E4, Rungis MIN, 94150 Rungis.
• Palimex Bordeaux, MEYVA Cash & Carry — 2 rue Roger Touton, 33300 Bordeaux Lac, serving south-west France.

What we distribute

The catalogue holds more than 1,100 active lines, arranged by trade range rather than by consumer aisle:

• Dried fruit — almonds, pistachios, cashews, dates, figs, apricots, prunes, raisins.
• Dehydrated fruit and candied fruit.
• Spices, oils and pulses.
• Olives and spreads, world flavours.
• Snacks and appetizers, confectionery.
• Two selections built for one trade each: Pastry chefs and artisans and the HoReCa selection.

Our brands

MEYVA is our main brand: ready-to-sell bags and tubs, sized to hold their own on a shelf and in a dining room. EPIKA carries the spices in professional formats. WISSAL completes the range on seeds. Alongside these own brands, we list established houses in their speciality.

How we work

Palimex sells wholesale, and wholesale only. Minimum pack size is 5 kg, orders ship on pallets, and opening an account requires a company registration number.

• Free delivery on orders over €990. Below that, delivery by carrier DACHSER is charged at €100 including tax.
• Drive & Collect — order online, pay, and load up at Rungis or Bordeaux with no delivery charge.
• Rungis opening hours — Monday to Thursday 6.30 am to 2.30 pm, Friday 6.30 am to 1.30 pm.
