Anise Green Green - Espig - 20x100g
Ref. 3121
Description
Derived from the seed of Pimpinella anisum, green anise is one of the oldest spices from the Mediterranean basin. Its fine grinding releases essential oils rich in anethole, which give it a clear and lasting olfactory signature, characteristic of the great culinary traditions of the Maghreb, the Middle East, and Southern Europe.
In professional cooking, ground green anise is integrated into marinades for white fish and lamb tagines, where it adds depth without overpowering. In pastry, it enhances dry biscuits, brioches, and infused creams. It is also used in homemade spice blends for Levantine recipes or stuffed vegetable fillings.
To enrich your spice selection, also discover Epika ground green cardamom, ideal for hot preparations and spiced desserts, as well as Epika ground nutmeg for rounder, woodier flavor combinations.
